Hi, today i moved from zorin os, to fedora 26 workstation, i m having problems to run emailing aplications in background, for instant incoming mail notifications, in zorin, when you close geary, it still working so it instantly notificate you for new mails.Y try to do the same in fedora with evolution, geary or thunderbird but i cant, the only way to know if a new mails in on my box, is opening the app.Its any way to make any of these aplications run in background mode?? sorry for my bad english. Don’t close the application window, and it will keep running.

If you really want to hide the window you can go to Activity view (move mouse cursor to top left corner), and drag the window onto a background workspace.
