I installed VBox on my Fedora 26 OS, but can't uninstall it either through programs or with the command sudo dnf remove virtualbox.

I installed it via an rpm package from virtualbox's website.

Can you provide output of:

rpm -qa | grep -i virtualbox

This way you'll find out exact package name. I believe it should be VirtualBox or VirtualBox-5.1 if you downloaded the latest version from their website.

Your answer would not work anyway.

Solution you've mentioned doesn't seem like a solution to me as package may stiill be installed in RPM database but now with some missing files.. ;-)

My answer is not solution, but a way to point you to the correct package name. To remove the package you need to use:

dnf remove PACKAGENAME

where PACKAGENAME is the correct package name.

I already found a solution.

On the menu (if we can call what GNOME have a menu), right-click on virtualbox's icon and then click on the details. On the window that appears, click remove. That's how I uninstalled it.
