Fedora 14, Intel 945: Installs OK but then X fails during bootup

I am installing Fedora 14 in order to run Amahi - so for that reason I can't choose another version of Fedora. The installation went fine - the reboot did not! It goes as far as the start of the 'hourglass' and then X fails. My motherboard is iL-90MV, a Micro-itx Intel 945. I had already tried installing the distro, in a Virtualbox, on another machine, and it went OK. So, I think this is down to some X configuration or drivers.

Is there a fix I can apply to this? Also, is there a way of getting into the command line?

If only X is failing, ctrl alt f3-6 will take you to the virtual console. Please use this and check the file /var/log/Xorg.0.log for errors to start with.

Hi, technoboi, the support for fedora 14 is finished. but if you need fc14, you can try Fuduntu, a fork about Fedora 14 with all new controllers http://www.fuduntu.org/

if you need a guide about fuduntu, search google "What to do after installing Fuduntu" or spanish "que hacer despues de instalar fuduntu"
