Since a day or two, flash videos in Youtube and elsewhere play with "hiccups", i.e., not smoothly. This happens in Chrome with its in-built flash player, and Firefox and Epiphany with installed adobe's flash rpm. I wonder what's up, and if others are seeing this happen. For what is worth, my GPU is shown as being Intel® 965GM in system settings, so could this have been the result of a recent kernel upgrade (3.3.4-4).

I've since removed adobe's flash and installed gnash, and so far have had no problems playing movies smoothly in youtube and other sites. And while I was at it, I've dumped google chrome and switched to epiphany (Web), and my only 2 GB of ram thank me for that.
