how to access memory card in fedora 25

inserting memory card into built-in slot is not been detected and displayed in memory locations. is there any way to access it?

Remove your memory card, then run dmesg -c in a console as root. Then insert your memory card again and run dmesg. Add the output of the second dmesg to your question.

You can use Gnome Disks utility (gnome-disks) to check if your card is being recognised, has any partitions and if so try to mount them. You might be missing fuse-exfat package, card reader driver or the card might be faulty or unformatted.

If it isn't exfat issue than post here output of those two commands, we'll see if your card reader is recognised and has loaded driver


lsusb -t

Take out the card, open terminal and run:

dmesg -w

Then insert the card and post here dmesg output since inserting.
