asked 2017-06-22 22:55:13 -0500

Maybe its a very easy task but Im new to Fedora. I cant navigate to the place where usr, opt, etc .. folders exist. I could not do it through file browser Nautilus on Fedora 25.

I use nemo, as it came with my desktop cinnamon and on the left pane, under my computer, shows a link to filesystem that has all the folders you are interested in.

You should provide more information about what exactly doesn't work and what the problem and/or the error messages are. You don't find the directories, or nautilus crashes, or you're missing permission to display, ...?

If I want to use nautilus to display a system folder, I hit CTRL+L to get an address list where I just type in my destination.

Or you can click on "Other places" in the left panel, and then click on "Computer" and it will take you to /.

If you would like to click less, just bookmark the system directories that you are interested in, or just / and it will appear as a shortcut in the left panel, just above "Other places".

Thanks a lot. Your answer is true. But I personally think I made myself clear about the issue I was subject to. Just "cant navigate to system folders". And It got fixed thanks to you.
