Is there a good way to edit the power menu?

I'm not a fan of the missing "Hibernate" option and having to hit alt to shutdown/restart.

Follow the below steps

# yum install gnome-tweak-tool

After the gnome-tweak-tool is installed please install the below gnome-shell extension

# yum install gnome-shell-extensions-alternative-status-menu

After installing it, Go to the folder /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions and copy user-theme and alternative status menu folders to ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/

After that open Gnome-tweak-tool and from Shell Extensions tab Switch the alternative-status-menu extension on and do a Alt+f2 then "r" to reload the Gnome Shell, and then you get your hibernate and Poweroff on the Power Menu.

Incase after copying the folder to your .local you don't see those extensions in Gnome-tweak-tool then just do a gnome-shell reload as shown above.
