Hello

I bought TP-LINK TP-WN722N usb-wifi dongle because I heard it works extremely well with Linux. But.. It's not even recognized as a usb device. The dongle itself works perfectly on my Windows machine. It is the V2 dongle, and when I asked about it on Reddit, a user commented: "V2 uses a non-Atheros chipset." Not sure if that makes all the difference then. Any ideas?

Which version of TP-WN722N do you have? This document will help you identify which driver your version needs.

The V2 as I stated, already tried installing the drivers from manufacturers site but it didn't work. But what do you know, checking your link and navigating to https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8188eu and compiling the driver seems to have worked, cool. Thanks!
