When i shutdown fedora any version with Gnome desktop environment it restarted automatically after 5 sec maybe.. I tried systemctl poweroff - shutdown now - init 0 even gui button
and any other method, but nothing usefull
But after little search i tried to turn on airplane mode before shutdown and it successfully done..
I searched for walk up on lan but nothing is wrong...this is happening with ubuntu, arch, fedora using gnome desktop but not opensuse
Hence i switched to amazing Kde and problem is gone, is there anyone telling me why this happening with only gnome and not with kde !!! Cause gnome is lighter and i used to use it

Cinnamon is lighter than Gnome, and no odd behaviour either. When I shutdown, it stays down.

@steveebey73742 Come on, please don't pursue people using a desktop environment than you and stop trying to convince them to use a different one than the one you do not like. It's not nice to hijack questions like this, where saying "use a different desktop environment" makes no sense as the questions is about a specific desktop environment.

The only behaviour, where this is the "normal" is when applying updates. There the system shuts down and restarts afterwards to install the updates before finally shutting down. I don't quite like this behaviour and try to convince the devs to change this, but apart from this a shutdown should be a shutdown.

@rugk, I made a statement, that i know to be fact, as a person who uses cinammon. I did not tell him to switch, I told him what I use. Please read the post again, and tell me where I suggested or commanded him to change? I present nothing but information, and believe people can use it, to make better choices, rather than just blindly following the trends of other people. i recognize, support, and advocate free will, and simply offer information based on personal experience as my Opinion. People are free to do as they desire.
