I am running Fedora 25 (with the latest kernel, following the guide here: and I cannot for the life of me get Xen to boot after it's installed.

can't find command 'multiboot'. error: can''t find command 'module'. Loading Initial ramdisk ... error: can't find command 'module'.

I've tried rebuilding grub/grub2, I've tried directly editing it to add multiboot. I've tried building grub from source with efi support. Nada. Nothing seems to work.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Also ran across this issue with fedora 28. I solved it by installing grub2-efi-modules and then copying the /usr/lib/grub/x86_64 folder to /boot/efi/fedora

Could you provide the following outputs?

# uname -a
# rpm -qa | grep -i xen
# lscpu
# grep ^menuentry /boot/grub2/grub.cfg | cut -d "'" -f2
# grub2-editenv list
# cat /proc/cmdline

Hello, i have the exact same issue, like other people:

I opened an issue on bugzilla, but nobody wants to reply :(

It's not that nobody wants to reply, it's just that everybody who might be able to work on the bug is busy on other issues, and the bug hasn't been assigned to anybody yet. Sometimes this happens, and sometimes minor bugs just sit there ignored because they're not important enough to get the attention they need. I know how hard it can be to be patient, but sometimes you just have to wait and hope your issue will be addressed.
