I have the basic settings given by gnome to control speed, tap to click and so on, but can't find a way to edit that if i click the touchpad it doesn't matter where (right, left, center), it always has to be considered a click. It's annoying me so much that I end up closing tabs in firefox or even opneing links when i am just trying to click.

I dont know if i am just missing the obvious answer to fix this but I need your help. Have it set so that tap to click is on, even deactivating the click action would be better at this point.

I am not sure what you're asking. Do you want one-finger tap to be a right-click? Also, are you using Wayland or X?

I want to no matter where in the touchpad i click (the hard click not tap) it considers it a click, or to disable it completely since I usually use tapping as a click and 2 finger tap as right click. I am not sure what I use, not sure what it is that you mean, how can i check?
