I'm running the MATE/Compiz spin of Fedora 24 with two monitors. I use the Desktop Wall compiz plugin with five viewports, and I would like, for example, to be able to keep a YouTube window on one monitor when switching viewports. I've tried using the Static Windows plugin, but I can't figure out how to make it work. It seems to expect some kind of matching string in the Window Match setting, but I don't know what format the string should be in. I also can't find any documentation around the plugin.

Is the Static Windows plugin capable of achieving this goal? If so, how should I configure it? If not, is there an alternative plugin or approach?

You can right-click on the window title and set the window to be visiable on the active desktop.
