I am facing this error " cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: epel" I used the plugins fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit, security Loading,USPS Tracking data.

Even i checked out with host file. Deleted the cache and refreshed it. Still i am able to see same error code.

Welcome to ask.fedora. The most important thing to do when something like this happens is Don't Panic. (Consider those to be Large, Friendly letters.) This happens now and again and it's almost never an issue with your computer. It just means that whatever mirror(s) you're using didn't respond properly. Generally speaking, dnf will continue, using what it has and carry on the best it can. Of course, if you're trying to update/upgrade, it may not be able to because it won't have up-to-date info. All you can do is wait a while and try again, as these issues usually clear up in a few hours at most.
