Hi - I'm trying to install Fedora 25 workstation as a VM on Oracle VirtualBox hosted on Windows 10. The installation apparently goes fine (using netinstall iso) but on restarting the VM, instead of booting into Fedora the installation screen appears again. I guess the boot manager didn't install or something? I tried the server ISO and got the same thing.

Did you unmount the installation iso? If it is still mounted the VM will just run that instead of starting the boot manager. Check under Settings > Storage that the netinstall iso is not mounted.

After installing an virtual machine in Virtualbox you have to disconnect the mounted iso. It's like booting your computer with an live cd or bootable usb in your computer.

Instead of unmounting the ISO, you can also just change the boot order in settings, booting from virtual hard disk

Thank you both @Jos and @Lentzi. That was indeed the problem I guess because I used the netinstall iso it remained mounted by default.
