I have installed Fedora Server 25 and webmin as well as mariadb, php 7, postgresql. Checked the httpd.conf, php.ini, changed ownership to apache:apache, changed permissions to 777 etc., tried all the suggestions from forums. I can install Joomla, but the moment I would like to run the site or admin console, i get this error No configuration file found and no installation code available. Exiting....

Any suggestions please!

The installation of Joomla completes with the "delete installation folder" and then the optiosn to enter the admin site or the front-end. Clicking either of them, just results in a clean white page with the error on top...>"No configuration file found....". The only other irregularity is that the config file had to be uploaded - the script wasn't able to create it (permissions issues) - but as I said, I have chowned to apache:apache and have chmod the complete directory to 777. Installation finished, uploaded the config file which Joomla creates and then the clean white error...

you will have to contact or get on the joomla forum. This looks like more of a joomla issue than fedora.
