I'm trying to install Fedora 25 (also tried Fedora 26) to a Lenovo Thinkpad E470, but I found no way to do it.

I made boot from USB key and selected 'Start Fedora'(also tried with check media option). After some warning like 'mmc0: Unknown controller version (3). You may experience problems.', the boot process showed some 'dracut timeout' and finally went out to a dracut prompt. I tried to change many options in BIOS (like UEFI, secure boot, ..etc..), but without success.

On the other side, Ubuntu 16.10/17.04 works fine on live and it's also easy to install on hard disk.

I solved on my own. The problem was that I made the Live USB key with Unetbootin. I made the key again with the 'dd' command in a terminal and all went fine.
