I recently updated fedora 24 to 25 and executed in prompt apt commands but didn't worked. In any forum says to execute apt-get update command, but sent me this error

E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (13 Permission denied) E: Unable to lock the list directory

then I tried to execute apt-get install playonlinux -y and showed this error:

Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done E: Couldn't find package playonlinux

In any moment of the process, it showed me another error that said something that it had many versions of fedora and it was necessary to leave one version and add some parameters to dnf configuration file. Now, I cannot open the windows partition which I could do in fedora 24

I am very sorry for my horrible writing but I am a mexican novato in linux which I really want to learn !!!

Thanks a lot!

Welcome to ask.fedora. You may not realize it, but apt and apt-get were originally written for Debian-based systems, although they've been ported to use RedHat's .rpm format. If you want to learn to use Fedora, or other RedHat based distros, you'll be well served to learn how to use rpm and dnf instead.

As far as your main issue goes, try installing with sudo dnf install -y playonlinux and see if it works better.

I really appreciate your attention, I have just used that command and it worked with no problems, and I can see the ntfs partition, I don't what happend.. so I must tell fedora is so good to be my first time using it. Thanks a lot!
