Hello,

I am looking into using Linux (specifically fedora). I want to buy this machine to instill fedora on it, and I just asking if fedora can successfully install with this hardware:

Compaq 15.6' Notebook PC with AMD E-300 1.3GHz Processor Black (CQ57-489CA)

http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/compaq-156-notebook-pc-with-amd-e-300-13ghz-processor-black-cq57-489ca/10142282?trail=&fromPLP=true&ancestorID=&searchString=&startSearch=&fromSearchBox=&addFacet=

Thank you very much!

Please take a look at the following link to see the minimum requirements for installing Fedora:

Of course that Fedora works with that hardware. I installed it on a Acer Aspire 4520, with a Athlon X2 TK-57 and 2GB RAM and it works fine... Fedora will fly with that hardware
