Hello everyone, after I upgrade the kernel, I am having this issue.

Anyone knows how can I fit it?

ok, what is amlpackage, and is it updated when a kernel change is made? with akmods or dkms? that appears to be the source of the issues. can you get in, to be able to remove and reinstall amlpackage?

Hello #steveebey73742

[joseluis@soporte ~]$ sudo dnf install aml

Last metadata expiration check: 1:17:00 ago on Mon Jan 30 22:35:50 2017. No package aml available. Error: Unable to find a match.

[joseluis@soporte ~]$ rpm -qa akmod*

[joseluis@soporte ~]$ rpm -qa dkms*

[joseluis@soporte ~]$ rpm -qa aml*

[joseluis@soporte ~]$

And now.. what can I do?

As for the technical details, these messages originates from the ACPI core. The _GPE._Lxx methods are level-triggered interrupts if I remember correctly and are triggered by the hardware (not Linux). Apparently this specific methods tries to evaluate some method or object at _TZ.THRM which failed because this ACPI scope does not exist.

The possible fix right now is booting from whatever kernel 4.8.x or < 4.9.x. -- The kernel 4.9 includes something strange.

tz.thrm sounds like temperature sensor. is the cpu running hotter than normal? is something trying to query the motherboard temperature sensors from the ACPI interface? There is a kernel update, to 4.9.6 available, if you can, try installing that to see if it is a bug in 4.9.5. Hope this helps.

Nothing. I have updated and I can see:

I reported this like bug yesterday on kernel.org , is very strange because in < kernel 4.9.x doesn't appear, isn't temperature because when I checked and as soon as power on the laptop I can see these errors only with kernels 4.9.x.

Thank you

No, the kernel 4.9.6.x doesn't fixed it. It's a bug on versions 4.9.x.
