konqueror and new tabs

It's interesting: using Konqueror I logged in some forum. If I open several topics in the same tab everything works as I could suppose. But when I try to open something in new tab I must sign in once again as every tab has it's own session. Another mention: it happens only using default browser identification. If I change identification into any other (i.e firefox 3.6 or safari 4.0) everything works fine. I am simply curious why it is like that?

I used to use firefox generally but I am at the point to change to konqueror because firefox has spawned performance problems and used so much memory while operating with httpd and php. What's more I truly advocate open source and KDE and just wish them well.

I believe you have hit KDE bug #167969 - if the forum cannot detect that you have followed an internal forum link from the presence of Referer header containing the address of the forum, then it redirects you to the login page. (Please consult the behaviour with the forum admins - whether it really relies on the Referer HTTP header, as I guess.)
