Don't know how helpful this might be, but please take a read through this Fedora documentation regarding upgrading, and perhaps try to follow their suggested steps regarding cleanup afterwards. I'm no kind of expert in Fedora (or anything else ;0)) but it could be some temp file left lying around, or perhaps some of the old rpm files?

You could try to do this using a different terminal like vim - which should be installed by default. Or download one via software manager, and run the commands?
