Well, it won't be installed really, but you can use the binary that the firefox website gives you. It is generally advised to stick to fedora packages whenever possible. However, this is unlikely to break your system. Here's how you can run it:

Make a ~/bin dir:

mkdir ~/bin

make a link to your firefox binary in this dir

cd ~/bin/
ln -sf <full path to binary> firefox-bin

To run it, in gnome you can use the "alt + f2" command box.

"alt + f2" -> command box appears -> type "firefox-bin" and hit enter.

Note: check your PATH variable:

echo $PATH

It should have ~/bin in it for this to work. If it doesn't, you'll have to add ~/bin to your PATH.
