Welcome to ask.fedora, but please leave that chip on your shoulder at the door. If you want to play various multi-media formats, you have to install the appropriate codacs, not all of which are directly available from Fedora. The easiest way to do this is to install the repositories at RpmFusion and install what you need from there. Or, you can walk off in a huff because things don't work the way you want them to. (If you really want, you can take a minute and a huff to tell us how evil we all are.) Whatever floats your boat.
