I've never tried sharing the same /boot but sharing the same /boot/efi should work. AFAIK, having a /boot partition is not needed with /boot/efi.

The challenge is that /boot/efi will create a folder EFI that will have fedora inside. So you probably want a distro that doesn't have the same name.

If the two distros have different names, they should be able to share the /boot/efi no problem. Note that the "last distro" you install will likely overwrite the boot order and install a "fallback" in /boot/efi/EFI/boot/FALLBACK.efi. They install it under a few different names because motherboard manufacturers don't always follow the standards.

You can TRY to install rEFInd, nice eye candy, and should detect the different distros easily.
