If you happen to own a small business, and trying to see what Health insurance is available under the new US Affordable Health Care Act, you are pointed to a form which can only be opened in a recent version of Adobe Reader.

I installed Adobe reader, using Adobe's AdbeRdr9.5.5-1_i486linux_enu(1).bin and it did not work - needed a 32 bit library. Apparently Adobe does not have a 64 bit version of their reader (yet?) for Linux.

I found the link below helpful

There are a number of steps involved - basically it installs the 32 bit version of adobe reader and then a number (58) of additional 32 bit libraries.

Does it work? On a stand-alone PDF file - yes (but evince-previewer works also).

On the government website? I don't know, haven't been able to get back to them.
