2014-10-07 16:53:08 -0600 answered a question When a "Standard partition" is created in Anaconda, is it automagically set as MSDOS in Bios systems and GPT in UEFI systems?

Yes. At boot prompt add "gpt". Instead of using fdisk/mbr scheme, Fedora will use gdisk/gpt partition scheme, which has some crucial advantages: unlimited primary partitions, automatical partitions alignement for ssd, larger than 2TB partitions. On bios systems, with gpt you have to add a 1M bios type partition at the beginning of the boot disk.
