2011-12-01 12:47:45 -0600 | commented answer | how to enable custom text message in F16 during Screen Lock Thank you for the link. I managed to logout and remove gnome-screensaver, then login. Xscreensaver was running instead, so that worked out fine. The only problem now is manually locking screen fails with "Couldn't execute command: gnome-screensaver-command --lock". |
2011-11-30 17:54:52 -0600 | asked a question | how to enable custom text message in F16 during Screen Lock It seems like in Fedora 16, Screen Lock will blank the screen, and no screensaver is shown. I used to enable screensaver that displays custom text message during Screen Lock in Fedora 14 so when I step out people can see my screen and know where I am. Now I cannot do that with Fedora 16. Any ideas how to enable displaying of custom message during Screen Lock? |
