2018-01-18 07:21:35 -0600 asked a question Nvidia driver doesn't load at boot

Hello, I installed Fedora for the first time yesterday on my new desktop. It has a Ryzen 7 proc and GTX 1070 Ti gpu, so I installed the Nvidia drivers and Cuda libraries for future projects. I followed the instructions on this link to install them, and added the rules on /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf to blacklist nouveau:

blacklist nouveau
blacklist lbm-nouveauoptions nouveau modeset=0
alias nouveau off
alias lbm-nouveau off

Then every time I boot it seems the nvidia drivers don't load, the system is pretty slow and glitchy and runninng nvidia-setting throw and error. But if I boot in multi-user mode (systemctl set-default multi-user.target), then login with my user and startx the drivers are loaded and everything is nice and smooth. Any suggestion what can cause this and how can I fix this? Thanks
