2017-04-25 17:56:59 -0500 | commented question | Login screen blinks I've just installed nvidia driver and that fixed the volt issue. Thanks! Is there any solution to "could not configure common clock"? And after the instalation the ui got bigger. Can I scale it back somehow? |
2017-04-22 13:18:44 -0500 | commented question | Login screen blinks I used usb with fedora workstation. Can I post dmesg somehow? It found errors with pcie aspm and conflicts with OpRegion, "If an ACPI driver is avaible for this device, you should use it instead of the native driver", "Can't disable ASPM, OS doesn't have ASPM control","_SB.PCI0.PEGP.DGFX._DSM: Argument #4 type mismatch - Found [Buffer], ACPI requires [Package] (20160422/nsarguments-95)" and some more. As for the second error it is longer: "nouveau 0000:01:00.0: volt: Type mismatch between the voltage table type and the GPIO table. Fallback to GPIO mode. " |

then the login screen blinks so fast, that I can't even type one character of my password. First message was there from the begining and the second appeared after last dnf update. I also have windows 10 on this laptop (systems are on separate drives). I tried running it on charger and on battery and nothing changed. Also the live version from the usb works fine. I am new to linux and this forum, sorry for my english. Is there any solution to this? (fedora 25 kde) |
