2016-12-11 06:19:37 -0500 asked a question Fedora 25: ath10k firmware not found

So my wifi is inexplicably slow on my acer VN7-572G, and dmesg says could not fetch firmware file 'ath10k/QCA6174/hw3.0/firmware-5.bin'

In that firmware folder (hw3.0), I have board-2.bin board.bin firmware-4.bin notice_ath10k_firmware-4.txt

In hw2.1 (I don't know what those numbers mean), I have board-2.bin board.bin firmware-5.bin notice_ath10k_firmware-5.txt

This appears to match the latest in https://github.com/kvalo/ath10k-firmw...

Here's the full output of my demsg | grep ath10k:
