2017-07-27 08:28:10 -0600 answered a question Eclipse plugins not working after upgrade

Never mind... somebody already fixed this. Just dnf upgrade and everything should start working if you have this problem. Both eclEmma and Maven is working as expected in eclipse now. :)

2017-07-26 15:02:44 -0600 asked a question Eclipse plugins not working after upgrade

The Maven and eclEmma plugins have stopped working after I upgraded from fedora 25 to 26. I have deleted the .eclipse folder and started with a clean workspace directory but nothing seems to help.

I can still see entries for importing a maven project and maven settings but I get error messages, like the one below, when I click on them. image description

I have installed eclipse and the maven plugin directly by dnf: sudo dnf install eclipse-platform eclipse-m2e-core. What can I do to solve this problem?

If your setup works there is no need to disable the internal card. It is also possible to use multiple cards simultaneously to provide multiseat support.

2017-05-06 08:08:58 -0600 answered a question Fedora 25 install on VirtualBox - reboot restarts installation process

Did you unmount the installation iso? If it is still mounted the VM will just run that instead of starting the boot manager. Check under Settings > Storage that the netinstall iso is not mounted.

2017-05-06 08:01:11 -0600 asked a question Difference between Jupyter and IPython notebooks?

Is there a difference between the IPython notebook and the Jupyter notebook on fedora? I'm a bit confused by the available packages. Installing python3-jupyter-core seems to provide the jupyter-notebook binary, but it does not work without python3-nbformat. There is also another core package: python-jupyter_core which seems to be the same as the first one?

The thing that got me most confused was that there is a notebook package for IPython too (python3-ipython-notebook), and it works independently of the Jupyter one. I can launch a notebook with ipython3 notebook without having python3-nbformat installed. However, the notebooks looks identical!

Is there some preferred way to install Jupyter on fedora 25? I have previously installed it via Anaconda (not the same as fedoras installer) but it feels a bit messy to have several different python installations...

2016-11-25 07:22:46 -0600 commented question biber and biblatex package broken

The first step should probably be to file a bug report at bugzilla. I already did this here.

According to this, biber is now part of texlive. This does not seem to be the case in Fedora 25, however, so maybe it would be better to update texlive and deprecate the separate biber package.

This is probably the same issue for rawhide: This (Ubuntu bug) might be of some help:
