2017-01-05 21:52:42 -0600 answered a question Disable touchpad while typing Fedora 20

The key to disable touchpad while typing doesn't exist anymore in the Gnome registry.

First install dconf-editor -

sudo dnf install dconf-editor

then create a key in dconf editor using this command on terminal.

dconf write /org/gnome/desktop/peripherals/touchpad/disable-while-typing true

It will create same key as in Gnome 3.14 and will set it to true.

This worked for me on fedora 23, Gnome 3.18.

2016-10-15 02:08:07 -0600 asked a question gnome software not working on fedora 24

Gnome software on fedora 24 is not working. It is not showing any icon. I tried installing google chrome using .rpm package, but gnome software took forever to open and ended with some error which I could not take a note. I tried this but no avail. I also tried this, but I guess packagekit service is working good. Output of systemctl status packagekit.service -l is here. I tried reinstalling and upgrading gnome-software, but no avail.

Kindly help me.

I recently moved from ubuntu to fedora.

Thanks in advance.
