Your question is a bit unclear. It sounds like you want to copy the contents of your prior home directory into your new home directory. Is that right?

I'm not familiar with the .pls extension, but if pls is a non-free format, you would need some additional codecs to play any pls files.

You can add the free and nonfree rpmfusion repositories ( http://rpmfusion.org/ ) to see if they will help you to find a suitable decoder. (As a note, both free and nonfree repositories don't cost any money - see the FAQ for the difference between the free / nonfree repositories).

The instructions for installing the repositories are on the rpmfusion site ( http://rpmfusion.org/Configuration ). I recommend trying the Graphical Setup via Firefox web browser option first, unless you feel comfortable with the command line.

@mether - we would do searches on the questions to see if there are questions / responses that we could include in the official GNOME docs.

I'm not sure about this. I'll speak to the infra admins and check up. Askfedora on its own does not provide this functionality (at least I'm not aware of it).

I've asked upstream this question. They should reply soon:

A member of the upstream project indicated that they can do this on hosted sites, but they would have to port this feature to the core product. It seems like they're willing to do this, but don't suggest a time frame for getting this feature into the core product.

Thanks for checking with upstream, FranciscoD!

ask.ubuntu.com (which is a stack exchange site) makes question / answer data dumps available in XML format on a certain schedule (I think it's every month or so). Is it possible to get a data dump of questions and answers from ask.fedoraproject.org?

We did not use the stack exchange data due to the higher attribution requirements imposed by the stack exchange policies (the requirements aren't that bad, but still just aren't preferred), but ask.fedoraproject.org data could be helpful for the GNOME documentation team.

Any kind of data dump would be fine, but XML data would be preferred. Thanks.
