What release are you using?

Its has been boggling me for long. I tried mounting it, using cdemu, acetonone.. no use It is a cloudready bin filesystem of chromium that i am trying to mount but to no avail.

Yumex , not yumex-dnf. You can get it from rpmfind and it stil works like a breeze on F24

I want to be involved more in fedora in more ways than one, and i want to know how i can run this regression test as the available wiki is not specific on how to do it .

I use a hp compaq nw8240 with a F23 and whenever i try using 3D apps like makehuman or sweethome3D i get this distort. i have use this same software on a dualbooted windows and they work okay. what is the problem and how do i fix this ?

The yumex downloads compressed versions of the metadata and at most it is the fastest and micro-manageable of installing apps on fedora. Also yum commands now redirect to dnf so it is still invoke cli = 38mb~ + 16mb~ = 47mb~ yumex= 10-16mb~ + 4-8mb~ = 18mb yumex-dnf= runs in the background and seems to be redownloading metadata for every small reason Gnome-Software= a beautiful reload icon but it uses the same MB as cli when monitored

Use yumex or yumex-dnf, as Gnome software is still up for more tweaking as it is not a finished product yet

In Fedora Software based apps like yumex-dnf, yumex and Gnome software download different metadata compressed at different levels. The smallest and most compressed is yumex, its metadata is 20-27MB at most and you an look at file sizes directly and act on it as i too live on constrained internet bandwidth and saving it to do other things than downloading updates. So yumex is your best bet on living in a data plan budget and also it also provides constant reconnecting for interrupted download if internet is shaky which no other packagekit/cli has.

Run totem using Terminal and recreate the above situation paste the output. The other option you can check is run journalctl -b | grep totem . To Fix The Situation Use another media player

Try removing and then reinstalling "Darktable". If that does not work, using yumex, Goto KDE Group, and remove all KDE Software, this method is not recommended but has a high chance of working.

When booting "Fedora Live Media" and you run into problem always try try the other options that are there like "Test media and start fedora" and "Start Fedora In Basic Graphic Mode". These options are there and are the soultion to your problem/

Not Advisable, A dependency for git is there not because its popular but the fact it is integral with such application, but you can always exclude it as a dependency when installing or updating apps.

For Example; When i install DE i always exclude wallpapers

It is a general issue for your computer model in linux. There is a general solution for it; First install Develeopment-Tools;

sudo dnf group install "Development-Tools"

Then you run this in terminal;

Try Find Multiple Version Of Kernels From 4.0.4-303 to 4.4.6 And Booting With it And Redoing the Process, Try Using rpmfind to find the kernels

I use proxy http://127.0.0.1:8080 as my base proxy for a local vpn for connecting to the internet, the problem is how do i connect my irc apps, ssh,wget, aria2 and everything in fedora to the internet through my proxy which is 127.0.0.1:8080 ? Opensuse has a interface called Yast2 that sets this up easily does fedora have something similar to this, if not its okay .

By Activating Rawhide Repository, But I Recommend You Wait For A Little While So That The Bugs Will Be Kinked Out

Fedora is a mix of stability and the very latest. Personally i would wait for F24 to enter Beta before i try out Gnome 3.20, It is not a major release and not much of a security release so why the rush afterall.

First Things First; Properly delete your former partition and make space for the new boys in town(*Fedora 23) Second try maximising and minimising the windows using the windows icons, This is to reset the window cache and force a refetch of the windows content. This happens to me all the time since i am using an old machine. I almost forgot DO NOT RESIZE the window just use the windows icons for maximising and minimising.

But if the case still continue, install fedora and wait and hour, shutdown normally and bootup and you should see your grub menu.

Lastly use a lightweight DE like LXDE & XFCE, then when you have finished installing, you can now install gnome.

First Things First, Check your wifi on another device whether the fault is from the wifi. If that is not the case i recommend you install gnome-desktop "dnf install @gnome-desktop". If that is also not the case try deactiving your wifi using the hardware button(*if available) and the reboot, Once reboot is complete try activating your wifi.

If all does not work, check your systemlog and report every matter you can find there to bugzilla.
