2013-08-11 11:16:00 -0600 | asked a question | Gnome-Shell blur CSS theme I know the CSS 'blur effect' can be applied when using it on a web page, but, How can this be used into a Gnome-Shell theme? Is there a way to call libraries from cairo or to call an external css file in order to achieve the blur effect? This way we could have a 'KDE look like' transparent blurry backgrounds theme for all pop ups |

2013-02-03 16:44:15 -0600 | asked a question | Gnome Shell 3.6.2 doesn't unlock When I lock Gnome-Shell on Fedora 18, everything goes fine, until I have to unlock it I give the password, and then the 'User - password' box disappear, but it never shows me the desktop screen, it only keep showing that 'dusty gray background'. The only way I can get it to work is rebooting by pressing 'ctrl+alt+f2' and pressing the shutdown button Ohh, and I have to press the shut down button because when I try to log in into 'text mode', Fedora just freeze ¿Any way to solve this two problems? |

2013-01-22 21:37:03 -0600 | marked best answer | Broadcom drivers in Fedora 18 If you always install the driver that's mean you're not use it DKMS type driver or akmod type package. For that reason you will always have to re-install package every kernel version. I suggest find the driver as a source. But before do that tricky way. I suggest you should check here ; Fedora forum brodcom driver article link Yes It's Fedora 16 in the end but basic still same. And one more link for whole wifi driver list you can find your driver in here. Good Luck |

When I updated I did what I allways do when updating, to reinstall the broadcom driver 'sudo yum install kmod-wl broadcom-wl' But now it doesn't work any more, I've already reinstalled 3 times de broadcom driver, but wifi isn't enabled, and as grub doesn't show up fedora is booted inmediately to the last installed kernel, without letting me to choose the old kernel wich have's the working broadcom driver ¿How can I get broadcom driver to work? |
