2014-07-17 00:15:18 -0500 | commented answer | Fedora 20 added network printer MG3222, test print gets nothing. That's what I meant by default database. I'm not sure if its via GNOME or Fedora, but either way it is an excellent improvement for growing our user base. |
2014-07-16 21:59:45 -0500 | commented answer | is Fedora designed for server? I second this. CentOS is an excellent server OS, but I think "Fedora Server" will be an excellent alternative. |
2014-07-16 21:45:54 -0500 | answered a question | Fedora 20 added network printer MG3222, test print gets nothing. I have the MG3220 and use the MG3100 driver that comes in the default database. In GNOME go to Settings >> Printers >> Click on your model (after unlocking it) >> Choose from database >> Choose Canon >> Choose MG3100 >> Print test page. Now, you have the option to upload a PPD file, I simply have not and am fine with my printer only printing. Edit. I have an image for clarity, though not enough karma to upload. Thus I'll expand on my process. |

2014-07-14 00:01:47 -0500 | edited question | slow wireless connection (rt2800pci) Wireless on x64 fedora 20 using the rt2800pci driver is ..hacky/slow/kinda bad. I've seen different posts claiming it is a known bug and is fixed, yet the issue persists. On Ubuntu (13.10 & 14.04) the connection seems better for some reason. Thoughts? |
