Fedora 21: KDE session won't start until Xorg.bin killed with failsafe session

After upgrading to Fedora 21, attempting to start a KDE session immediately after booting will fail about a second or so into the process, no matter how many times I try it. If I then use a failsafe session and do killall Xorg.bin, then I can start a KDE session with no problem.
