installation of libreoffice on fedora 16

I am new to linux and fedora and am trying to learn the ropes. I want to install the latest stable release of libreoffice on a fresh installation of fedora 16. I am using an old dell laptop as my learning device and the hardware does not support fedora 17 or I would have used it.

There is a dizzying array of packages in add/remove software when I search for libreoffice and thus need help determining what actually to install.

I tried using wget to download the latest stable tar.gz distribution and was denied. I think it is a firewall issue but the firewall config tool was not real helpful to me.

perhaps I am looking for a good sysadmin tutorial for fedora.

Thank you in advance...
