Network Advice (WiFi)

Hey, So, I have really, really bad connection when using Fedora-18. It is rock solid while I am using the Win-7 installation, and likewise it was good with XP-64. I'm.. utterly new to this Linux thing, so really don't know where to start troubleshooting. Could it be a driver issue? Where would I find out? Could it be some other configuration issue? What is my best course of action to resolve this?

Further info: WiFi is the RTL8187 on the Asus M2N32-SLI motherboard. Router is the [whateveritis] from Sky Broarband (Sagem, I think?). Connection from Fedora works well for maybe 3-5 mins, and then falls over. It worked well (as I remember) when I was using the live distro, but now it's installed it seems to fall over itself.

This post was bought to you by a well-behaved Windows Machine (but not ie... hahaha)
