I can't boot up Fedora 29

Fedora 29 does not boot up as normal.

It loads up the Fedora icon bubble and fills up to white, but then the screen turns black and i get this message:

You are in emergency mode. After logging in, type "journalctl -xb" to view system logs. "systemctl reboot" to reboot. "systemctl default" or "exit" to boot into default mode. Give root password for maintenance (or press Control D to continue)

What does all this mean?

When i type something it appears blank and just goes into a never ending loop.
