Something went wrong with the video hardware acceleration

When trying to run the cinnamon flavor of fedora in virtualbox with 3 GB of ram and 2 cores, I got a error massage saying that it is running without video hardware acceleration and that it is going to have more cpu usage than normal. Link to the error message. After poking around I found out that when the vm was starting up, something called "Hardware Monitoring Sensors" failed to start. Link to a youtube video on what was happening during the live session. 1:12 was the timestamp when the Hardware Monitoring Sensors failed Any help you can give?
