I gather it's been a design decision to remove icons on the desktop on Fedora 28. Design decisions are good, but why not have a checkbox somewhere that says 'allow icons on desktop' How do I get them back?
Even better, if I could choose whether I want them auto-arranged at the left or the right of the screen.
