I added 8812au driver to dkms in fedora 25 (based on this).
After kernel update, new version is build for the lastest installed kernel: I can see it with dkms status Howerver, when booting on this kernel, I got "8812au: version magic previous_version should be current_version" in dmesg.
This is the same problem as decribed here. A workaround could be the script written in the previous link, but I'd like to understand how DKMS works on Fedora. It is OK for nvidia drivers, so it works.
I don't know how to find logs about dkms when kernel update are installed.
