Fedora and SSD

I'm planning to migrate to Fedora 25 after an upgrade to my Labtop by installing new 240 GB SSD and adding another 4 GB of RAM to be 8 GB.

I would like to clarify the following two questions:

  1. Does Fedora safe with SSD? The mean of safe is regarding the life time of the SSD. i.e does Fedora deals with SSDs wisely?

  2. Could I set a memory card or USB memory stick as a SWAP partition either during installing Fedora or any other time after installation? i.e suppose that I want to change the memory card by another one.
