Unable to install android studio in fedora 25.

i have fedora 25 and i want to install android studio in my desktop.

when i tried to to do this following error occurred :

[root@localhost bin]# ./studio.sh OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=350m; support was removed in 8.0

Startup Error: Unable to detect graphics environment

what it does mean ?

mother board : frontech 945

processor : intel core 2 duo

I had the same issue under F24 a few months ago.

The first message (" ignoring option MaxPermSize=350m") can be ignored, is just a warning telling you that Java 8 does not support the MaxPermSize option anymore.

The second problem should go away by installing OpenJDK 8 again, including the java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless package; and the java-1.8.0-openjdk-devel package will be usefull also.

Hope that helps. Is just what I did and get Android Studio working..

If you can, paste the source code for stdio.sh to https://paste.fedoraproject.org/ and link it here, so people can help debug it .
