LG R510 can't wake from sleep with FC 16
Hi there, I got an older LG R510 on which I want to use Fedora, just to get used to something else than Ubuntu, and which may be used in a professional setting.
However, when I put the computer to sleep, either through the menu or by closing the lid, it cannot wake back up. I looked for the issue, and only found a WONTFIX status, dating back from FC 12. It stays on the "Loading initial ramdisk" indicator.
The distribution has been updated. I'm not sure if a proprietary driver is used. This is not a liveCD, rather a HDD-based install.
This seems to be a recurrent issue with Linux distros on laptops.
How can I get a properly-functioning standby method?
