Issues with Google Chrome on Fedora 25
Has anyone been able to get Google Chrome working on Fedora 25? After launching Chrome, I'm seeing a black screen that locks up the gdm.

Just tested in a virtual machine running up-to-date Fedora 25 workstation, and it works just fine. I installed it by downloading the .rpm file from here. Then installed the .rpm file with dnf (
dnf install ~/Downloads/google...
).Why do you want Google Chrome, when there is Chromium in the official Fedora repository (
sudo dnf install chromium
) (All I can think of is Netflix & Co.)Thanks for the attempt to reproduce. I upgraded from google
stable
tobeta
and things seem to be working.google-chrome-beta-55.0.2883.59-1.x86_64
Both Chromium
53
and54
are having similar, if not the same, issues as Google Chrome Stable on Fedora 25, unusable black screen. Why I prefer Google Chrome: HBO, Netflix, Plugins, Bookmarks across platforms, and Integration with everyday life-- But to be fair, I've never given Chromium a chance.Expect those streaming services, chromium is just as functional as Chrome. Since it's not in your case, you may want to consider filing a bug report...
Submitted a bug. Thanks for the suggestion.
