Gtk theme not loaded after login

Hello,

I'm using MATE environment with F25. I installed a Gtk theme and saved it into ~/.themes. But when I log in to my desktop, that theme does not load up. I have to launch mate-appearance-properties to have the theme loaded up completely.

Any idea what is wrong?

you can try and move the theme to the global theme folder @ /usr/share/themes and make sure to reset the selinux context with restorecon -r /usr/share/themes/MY-THEME and see if it help.
