Gnome Software Not Indexing

After an hdd crash, I had to reinstall fedora. At some point in the update process Gnome Software stopped indexing packages. When I launch Gnome Software the icons under the ALL button appear; but nothing populates under Installed or Updates. Also, I cannot search for anything. The Throbber just keeps spinning indefinitely. Is there a way to fix this? I need Gnome Software to install codecs and verify that they are indeed installed.
