Safer to develop java ee aps in CentOS or is Fedora fine?

Hi all

Is it 'safe' to develop in Fedora 25 and then deploy on CentOS or is there a benefit in developing and deploying in CentOS that outweighs the freshness of Fedora?

As long as you develop with the same major release of JDK, or using the appropriate target version when compiling, there is no drawback of using either option. The bytecode will be compatible.
